6 Months Free Cell Service With Republic Wireless Phone Purchase

If you’ve been looking for the perfect time to get a new phone and switch to Republic Wireless, now is the time.

Over the next couple weeks, Republic Wireless (the cell phone company my wife and I use) will be offering six months of free cell phone service with the purchase of a phone.

Here’s how it works and how you can take advantage.

The Promo Details

So how does this promotion work? Basically, you buy one of the two phones Republic Wireless is offering this promo on, listed below. Each phone has specific dates for which the promo applies.

If you buy one of these brand new phones from RepublicWireless.com during the phone’s promo period, you’ll received a discount on the phone and six months of free service at the 1 GB per month level.

If you choose a plan with more data, you simply pay the difference between the 1 GB plan price and the price of the plan you choose.

The promo requires you to pay for the first month’s service in December, but for the months of January through June 2017, your phone bill will be covered (up the the 1 GB plan) except for taxes and telecom fees, which you’ll have to pay yourself.

In order for this promo to apply, you must activate your phone by December 29th, 2016.

The Phone Choices

I have not used either of these phones before, but they look like good deals for the price points at which they’re being offered.

When you add in six free months of service, it seems like an obvious decision to switch to Republic Wireless and start saving money with their $20 per month phone plans!

The first phone is the Moto Z Play, normally $449, but currently offered at $100 off, or $349, with this promo.

The offer on this phone runs from December 7, 2016 through December 12, 2016 or however long supplies last, whichever comes first. The phone has a 5.5 inch screen, 32 GB of memory, a MicroSD slot for additional memory, 3GB of RAM, a 16 MP camera and up to 50 hours of battery life.

The second phone is the Huawei Ascend 5w, normally $179, but offered at $50, or $129, with this promo.

The offer on this phone runs from December 13, 2016 through December 19, 2016 or until supplies run out, whichever comes first. The phone has a 5.5″ screen, 16 GB of memory, a MicroSD slot for additional memory, 2GB of RAM, a 13 MP camera, a fingerprint sensor and a buffed metal body.

Our Experience With Republic Wireless

My wife and I have been using Republic Wireless for years now. They offer cheap phone service in a pretty awesome way. The plan pricing starts at $15 per month with no data or $20 per month with 1 GB of data.

The reason Republic Wireless can offer these rock bottom rates is because they use WiFi calling and text technology.

Whenever you’re on a strong enough WiFi network, Republic Wireless will use your WiFi signal instead of a cell tower signal to route calls and text messages.

I personally think this is awesome because it allows me to make phone calls from places even if there is no cell tower signal.

Republic Wireless is constantly striving to add more features and improve their services every day. They now offer a wide variety of phones when they initially only offered one.

They’ve constantly added amazing features over the time my wife and I have been members and we look forward to what Republic Wireless has to offer in the future.

With our phone bills being so cheap with Republic Wireless, I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t at least give them a shot. You could easily save hundreds of dollars per year with just one cell phone line.

This promo makes the decision even easier. If you’ve ever been on the fence about trying a new cell phone provider, give Republic Wireless a shot. We didn’t regret it and our bank account is a bit fatter, too.

What do you think of this promo? If you have Republic Wireless, what do you think?

  1. This is so cool Lance! Republic Wireless seems like it would be a great choice for teens who want a cell phone but their parents wont pay for it!
